– Tell a story of God’s power and presence active in your life

– Tell us about your favorite Bible character or Bible story and why it is meaningful in your faith journey
and it’s the current guidance handed down by the Rappahannock Area Health District.
Our mission is to keep our church-family healthy.
Being away from home is often hard, and a maintaining a connection with your church family can make a big difference.
Please consider forwarding their mailing address to our Outreach Ministry, so we can brighten their day with a kind word.
The church office maintains a prayer list that is shared with the Prayer Chain Coordinator so that members of the Prayer Team can lift up those names in prayer.
We encourage adding you to add your loved ones to our list, which also includes other members of the congregation, first responders, military, and healthcare workers that work to keep us all healthy during the pandemic.
We also pray for families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The church office will keep names on the list for one month and sympathies for grieving families for two weeks. After that amount of time, the name will be removed from the prayer list, unless the church office is contacted and asked to keep the name on the list. This is in an effort to have a current list of prayer needs.
If you would like to add a name to the prayer list or see that a name remains on the list, please contact the church office.
As Chaplain, Pastor Lou will serve officers and staff of the department, their families, and all members of our local community regardless of faith affiliation. He also serves as a bridge between our faith communities and the local government as they seek to address common social concerns. A former police officer in Alexandria, Pastor Lou has an MS degree in Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Basic Level Chaplain Credential from the International Conference of Police chaplains. In 2018, he was awarded a Medal of Merit from the National Sheriff’s Association for his chaplaincy service in Hanover County, Virginia.
Our Nursery is currently closed, but will soon be staffed during our 10am worship service.
If you choose to keep little one with you during the service, be aware that Activity Bags are available to keep little hands busy. Just ask an usher.
Making the worship service more accessible includes the providing the sermon for those with limited hearing and sight.
Our facility has been upgraded, and worship materials are available for each worship service. If there is anything you need, please ask an usher and we’ll be glad to accommodate you.
We need new members to serve no more than once a month at either service. You will have training and mentoring. If interested in serving or curious about all that we do, please contact Rebecca Sullivan.
Also, the Altar Guild could use your unwanted hand or kitchen towels. Please just drop them by the Altar Guild room.
