Education

The Christian Education Ministry provides opportunities for spiritual growth for all ages.

Sunday School:

All Sunday School offerings will be going to the ELCA to benefit World Hunger. The money will help provide families in need with chickens, other animals, and resources they need to escape hunger and poverty. All children who bring in any offering amount during Sunday School will get to color a chick. These will be displayed in the new hallway upstairs.

Make Time for Christian Education (Adults):

The Let’s Talk Group meets Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in the couch room in the Education Wing to share discussion and support related to our day-to-day challenges and spiritual lives.  All are welcome.

YAMM Talks meets twice a month during the Sunday school hour. It is a group of single and married young adults under 40 who gather for faith formation in the church library.

Confirmation Ministry:

Our confirmation program is a 3 year program, with the Confirmation Service: Affirmation of Baptism coming at the end of the 9th grade. During these 3 years, students learn about the Bible, about Luther’s Small Catechism, about the Church – but mostly, students learn about their faith and what it means to be a Baptized child of God. Classes will be held during the Sunday School hour at 10:00. Regular attendance will be important and necessary for those wanting to be confirmed.

Mid-Week Bible Study:

WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY continues. Come and join us at 10:00 a.m. in the conference room.
