Christeens -Youth Group Meetings start with dinner in the Fellowship Hall
SENIORS meet 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings
and JUNIORS meet 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings
6:30pm – 8:00pm
 
We need parent support!  –  Parents, please sign up to provide a dinner this year, and plan to help out with that evening’s activities.  Also – new ideas and members are always welcome to join the Youth Planning Committee. 
Christeens News 

Christeens wraps up another fun and faith filled year! Parents and youth please join us on Sunday, May 5th following the 11 o’clock service to spread the mulch on the preschool’s playground. Bring your own shovels and gloves. Also, all youth and parents are invited to our annual Ice Cream Gutter Party on Sunday, May 19th at 2:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Upcoming Events:

June 7th -9th Youth Assembly at Roanoke College. Two youth (7th -12th graders) from the congregation attend as delegates. Please contact Anne if you are interested in attending.
June 16th -23rd Campfirmation at Caroline Furnace. This is a week for 7th and 8thgraders to experience God’s creation and discover their story as part of God’s story. We strongly encourage all youth to attend at least one year. Please look for more information in the upcoming weeks.
June 23rd -28th Kairos is a weeklong faith-forming event for 9th -12th graders at Roanoke College. We also need parent(s) to attend this event.
  
 
CALLING ALL YOUTH! Yes, YOU! Are you in middle or high school? Do you love fun with friends? Then, you should not miss out on Youth Group! We start our Sunday meetings with food at 6.30 pm, and have something great planned for you until 8:00 pm. Wait for a letter in the mail with all the details. The members of the planning team are looking forward to having YOU join in the fun!
