All About Me

I am (it’s a secret) years old. I live in Spotsylvania County, but I was raised just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. When I grow up, I want to work with children and/or fun people. My favorites are family, sunny days, going new places, and scary movies. My favorite color is magenta. My favorite type of book is mystery/suspense. My favorite foods are steak, baked potatoes, pasta, and French onion dip. My pet is Bailey the dog.

I graduated college from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Early Childhood Development.

Upon graduation, I moved to Virginia to start my new career at Spotsylvania County Schools. After being an elementary teacher for many years, I chose to stay at home and raise my 3 beautiful children. When my youngest was preschool age, my family and I became members at Christ Lutheran Church. I also became the Christian Education Director for the church as well as one of the preschool teachers. Most days you will find me at CLC. When I am not at there, I am at home being a busy mom to my teenage children. I wouldn’t change a thing!

All About Me

I am 39+ years old. I live in Fredericksburg, but I was raised in Michigan. When I grow up, I want to be a bestselling author. My friends are all fun, silly, generous & friendly people. My favorite color is pink. My favorite book is The Outsiders. My favorite snacks are chips & dip and hummus & crackers. My pet is Buddy the cat.

I graduated from Michigan State University in the early 80’s with a degree in education then promptly moved to Fredericksburg. After thirty-one years of teaching English at three different Spotsylvania middle schools and acquiring my masters in education from George Mason University, I retired in June 2015. It was a rewarding career, and I still very much enjoy children.  I have been an active member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1997 and work with our Christian Education program and our youth group. Having two teenage sons (Avery & Brett) and a husband who adore baseball, they have pulled me in as their biggest fan. You can find me most evenings and weekends at a ball park in the area with a big smile on my face.

All About Me

I am ?? years old. I live in Spotsylvania County. When I grow up, I want to be a Disney Cast Member. My friends are Mickey & Minnie Mouse and all the Disney Princesses. My favorite color is pink. My favorite book is If You Give a Pig a Pancake. My favorite foods/snacks are celery, grapes & Toblerone candy. My pet is a stuffed pig (he likes pancakes).

I graduated many moons ago with a degree in Political Science. In my former life I adjusted claims for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Erie Insurance Group and the Social Security Administration. I then took on the hardest job with the most demanding bosses ever when my husband and I decided for me to stay at home with my two daughters, Sarah and Emily. I volunteer at my daughters’ schools, am an active member at Christ Lutheran Church, have taught Sunday School for a number of years and have previously been a para at the Preschool. I spend most of my time involved with my girls and their activities, but do enjoy reading, sewing and crafting, when I get the chance.
