Christ Lutheran Church welcomes Anne Jones as Intern for the next year. Anne is a 2008 graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College where she majored in Religion and Family Ministry and received her Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity in 2011. Anne completed a Master of Sacred Theology at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in 2012. Anne enjoys cooking, traveling, and watching movies.
After this year, Anne will be up for approved for ordination in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She is interested in cultivating ecumenical and interfaith relationships and advocacy for marginalized communities in her current and future ministries. During her time at Christ Lutheran, Anne will participate in the many ministries of the congregation, giving particular attention to the worshiping life of the congregation, campus ministry, youth ministry, and outreach ministries.

I am from Hickory, North Carolina, and attended Lenoir-Rhyne College, an affiliate of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. After graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne, I attended Wake Forest University School of Divinity and earned a Master of Divinity in May 2011. This past year, I continued my theological education at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina, and received a Master of Sacred Theology degree.
 
Over the past four years at seminary a quote from Emily Dickinson continued to inspire and excite me. In many ways Dickinson's words encouraged me to constantly reevalutate and be present in my vocational and spiritual journey. The inspirational words are simple, "Dwell in possibility." As I learn more about the art of ministry this year, I hope that you will join me in dwelling in what is possible through Jesus Christ.
